I House Passes $16,000 Pay for Hub Judges Boston Municipal Court judges will receive the same $16,000 salary as their counterparts in the fulltime district courts under terms of a bill approved yesterday by the Massachusetts Earlier the House had turned down a bill which would have given the Boston Municipal Court justices $17,000 annually. The measure was revived when Rep. George V.

Kenneally (D-Dorchester) offered an amendmen to cut proposed pay raise for the judges from $2000 to $1000. The pay scale of these judges has lagged $1000 behind the fulltime district courts since the Legislature last year boosted the pay of the district court judges from $14,000 to $16,000. The chief justices would receive $17,000 annual under terms of the bill. The chief justice traditionally has been paid $1000 more than the associate justices on this court.
